Head Coach

I got into coaching to give every child no matter what background the opportunity to be coached at cricket. My aim for MJS Sports Coaching is to offer cricket coaching to all children in a fun and safe environment whether they want to play for England or just have some fun, there is a place for everyone in cricket.

In addition to the work I do with MJS Sports Coaching, I am also a Pathway Coach at Northampton County Cricket Club, coach at Oundle School as well as Ramsey Cricket Club. During my playing career, I played for Hunts County Boys from the age of 11 to 25.

Level 2 ECB Coach

Growing up I have always been so immersed in cricket, and it has taken over the lives of me and my family. My dad, who both coaches and plays cricket, was the reason I got into cricket in the first place and has inspired me to be who I am today.

My coaching journey has only just begun, but I am loving every moment of it. Helping others, seeing them improve, and knowing that I am making a positive impact on others makes me so happy and want to continue to do so.

I have played for Nassington Cricket Club, as well as Northants Pathway Girls from under 13's through to under 18'.

Mark Estall
Level 2 ECB Coach

I got into cricket coaching because of my deep passion for the game and my desire to help others develop their skills. Cricket has given me so much—discipline, teamwork, and unforgettable memories—and I wanted to pass that on to the next generation. Seeing players grow in confidence and ability, whether beginners or experienced cricketers, is incredibly rewarding. Coaching isn’t just about technique; it’s about inspiring a love for the game and fostering a positive, competitive spirit.

I am an ECB Level 2 Qualified Coach. During my playing career I played at March Town Cricket Cub and Cambridgeshire County Boys from Under 11's to 17's.

As a qualified ECB Level 2 cricket coach I am keen to help younger players, girls and boys, get the most out of their cricketing journey and help them enjoy themselves and the game plus improve their skills in any way I can.

If you want professional and high level of coaching MJS Sports Coaching are perfect for you. Thank you Matt because of your guidance my son is living his dream playing cricket in Australia.
